Brees (2011-12) holds the league record with nine consecutive 300-yard passing games. The Saints' Brees has passed for at least 300 yards in eight consecutive games, the second-longest streak in NFL history and one shy of the NFL record. The five quarterbacks to pass for at least 300 yards today: Detroit's MATTHEW STAFFORD (385 yards), New Orleans' DREW BREES (342), the New York Jets' GENO SMITH (331), Washington's ROBERT GRIFFIN III (326) and Cleveland's BRIAN HOYER (321). There were 26 300-yard passing games through the first three weeks of the 2012 season. With two games still to play, that total is the second-most through the first three weeks of a season (34 in 2011).
